Karate Beach Class

Sensei does Beach Class once a month in the summer.

Brian loves this class. Alex liked the beach too.

Brian is an Orange Belt

Brian had belt testing Friday. He did great and got his orange belt.

WTG Brian

C finally patched up all the holes in the pool so the boys have been going in there. Alex loves it much more then last year and Brian, well, we cant get him out. Hopefully we can find a waterproof cast that works so he can go in it this summer. His surgery is 3 days away.

I will post pics and details of that also.

Fathers Day and Cs Bday

Brian and C seemed to have fun at this class...lol

There was way more dads at this class then moms at the Mothers day one. O well, theres always next year.

Now here is a pic you wont see to often. This is Brian and Alex playing outside in the rain. Now anyone who knows me knows that I HATE messy kids. Yes, I know thats a part of being a kid but yuck..lol

So, here they are in their first "rain play".

We also had Christophers Bday on Saturday. We got him 2 great books on how to raise chickens. We are debating raising them here for eggs. C says meat also but I dont think I can do that. I would like to thanks Sara for giving him the wonderful idea!

Today also starts the first day of school vacation. Its going to be a long 2 months.

Karate

Brian has a ton of things coming up in karate this month.

June 14th is Fathers Day Class. This was fun last year. I did a Mothers day class with him in May. He then has Beach Class, June 25th at Misquamicut State Beach. Brian had so much fun doing this last year. It was the first time he had ever been to the beach. (bad mom, I know) Then last but not least, he has Belt Testing on June 27th. He will go from a yellow belt to an orange belt. I will be sure to post some pics for you guys. This is a picture from Mothers Day class . We had so much fun this year.

Demo Derby

Brian and Alex went to their first demo derby this Memorial Day weekend at Seekonk Speedway. They had so much fun watching Uncle Joe wreck his car. I hope to take them to 2 more this year, depending on Brians cast that is. I did not have C with me so I was expecting trouble but they were both wonderfully behaved. They listened to me and my parents and didnt do one thing that would have gotten them in trouble. It really was a fun night. Joes car is the pink and yellow one.

Here is Alex being silly and Brian with the look of amazement at the crashing cars. Can ya tell he loved it. Alex is also sitting with Grandpa. They both wore headphones when it got to loud.
